Here is a selection of work from the past five years mostly based in Dublin. The pieces interpret the people I meet and the places where I spend my time. Most of my work is in oils on canvas and is predominantly done from life.

I began drawing and painting seven years ago in Florence, where I studied in a classical artist's studio. In 2004 I moved to London where I studied portraiture and figurative painting at Heatherley's in Chelsea for two years to attain the diploma in portraiture.

On moving back to Ireland in 2006, I began exhibiting in various art galleries around the country, which gave me the opportunity to take part in several solo and group shows. My work has been widely collected both in Ireland and internationally in private and public collections, and has been included in several publications.  In 2010, I was awarded a three month residency in an artist's studio at the Royal Hibernian Academy.
